Q. Is registration free?
A. Yes.
Q. How do I fix or change my registration information?
A. Go to the “My Account” link under your username on the top left hand of the page. Once you’re in your account, click on “Edit my account information.” You can make the changes here.
Q. You ask at registration for my AIA number. Do I need to be an AIA member to register or take any courses?
A. No. This is not a requirement to register for LogInAndLearn.com or to take any courses. However, some courses offer AIA credit to AIA members and your AIA number can speed up the process of obtaining your credits.
Q. I want to unsubscribe from LogInAndLearn.com. How do I do this?
A. Send us an email at reedconstructionLIAL@reedbusiness.com and we will delete your account.
Course/Exam Questions
Q. Is every course free for me to take?
A. Almost all the courses offered on LogInAndLearn.com are free. We do host courses that require a fee to take it. We always make it clear if there’s a monetary value attached to it.
Q. I started a course, but I need to finish it later. Can I do this?
A. Yes. You can proceed at your own pace.
Q. How many times can I take an exam?
A. You get three chances to take the exam and pass. In order to pass and receive a certificate for the course, you need to get at least an 80 percent on the exam.
Q. How do I print out my certificate ?
A. Go to “My Account” and you’ll see a history of the courses you completed. For the ones you pass, there is a button to print your certificate. It will pull up the certificate in a new window. Select “File” then “Print”.
Q. How do I review what exams I took?
A. Go to “My Account” and a history of the exams you passed or failed will be listed here.
Q. How often can I take the same class for AIA credit
A. Once you’ve taken a course and passed, you cannot repeat this course for three years.
Q. I got a low score on my exam, but I’m pretty sure I chose the right answers. What do I do?
A. This can happen. If you think an exam has been set up incorrectly, please contact us at reedconstructionLIAL@reedbusiness.com.
Credit Questions
Q. I took an online course a few weeks ago and but the credit hasn’t posted to my transcript yet. How long does this take?
A. Once we submit the credits to AIA, it can take up to two weeks for the credit to post. If you have no received your credits within two weeks of your completion date, please email us at reedconstructionLIAL@reedbusiness.com.
Q. Do you offer other credits besides AIA?
A. Currently, we do not offer credits other than AIA.
Q. What is my annual requirement for AIA?
A. Active AIA members need 18 learning unit (LU) hours each year, and of these 18 LU hours, 8 of the LU hours must be related to health, safety, and/or welfare (HSW).
